My Movie Queue: 25th Hour

I love Edward Norton. From American History X to Death to Smoochy – even Keeping the Faith. When this came up as a Netflix recommendation one night, and neither of us had seen it, it was a no-brainer. The opening sequence of the movie – hysterical. We were dying. “Now it’s you, me and Doyle.” Great dialogue. But I lost it from there. After that it was pretty slow and actually took a couple of days for us to finish. During the last stretch, I fell asleep for the last quarter (I was sick) and woke up at the very end. I liked the sentiment of the end. Overall, though, I didn’t stop to go back and watch what I missed. I was happy to be able to but it back in the envelope and move on to the next movie. Not sure what it is yet – we’ll be surprised (hopefully tomorrow).

About Mama's a Mess

Who am I and what am I doing here? Well, at the end of the day I'm a mother and a wife, a lover of classic monster movies and comic books, of music, TV and movies. I'm a sucker for pop culture. I'm a fangirl. I'm an artist. As my husband always puts it, "Baby, you're a mess!" I have a penchant for creating and collecting. I feed my brain with a mix of anything from hot rods and pin-ups to handmade and natural. I like to dig in the dirt and grow things but sometimes picture myself doing it like Donna Reed. I will always, always choose to wear a dress first. I am head over heels in love with my husband and have a fantastically crazy life with him.
