Interesting Intersect: The Draft

The Draft Hot Water Music Chuck RagenSuffice it to say by now, all my Pandora finds are going to be at least 3-5 years old.  I’m over it – if it’s new to me it’s totally still worth loading up my playlists.  Now, this one carries a little extra weight.

As I was scrolling through youtube comments I noticed a reference to Hot Water Music.  Apparently, The Draft is what was left of the band after Chuck Ragen left.  We happened to see Chuck Ragen open for Social Distortion back on Mother’s Day in 2011.  I loved the way he sang and played.  So, add the Draft to the list of reasons not only to get more of their own music but to also get more Chuck Ragen and Hot Water Music.

About Mama's a Mess

Who am I and what am I doing here? Well, at the end of the day I'm a mother and a wife, a lover of classic monster movies and comic books, of music, TV and movies. I'm a sucker for pop culture. I'm a fangirl. I'm an artist. As my husband always puts it, "Baby, you're a mess!" I have a penchant for creating and collecting. I feed my brain with a mix of anything from hot rods and pin-ups to handmade and natural. I like to dig in the dirt and grow things but sometimes picture myself doing it like Donna Reed. I will always, always choose to wear a dress first. I am head over heels in love with my husband and have a fantastically crazy life with him.
