6:00am – set the alarms to start going off so we can make sure the Easter Bunny arrives. We were just too tired to make sure last night.
6:45am – finally out of bed
7:00am – make Easter magic inside
(somewhere in here say out loud that I want to blog today)
8:00am – sneak outside for more Easter magic
8:35am – one child finally awake
8:50am – the other is up and through his basket. time to get everyone dressed and ready to go.
9:15am – one of us heads to pick up the niece and last child. the other heads to the store for last minute Easter items.
9:50am – squeeze in 10 more minutes of a stupid outdoor reality show in Venezuela.
10:00am – clean up the kitchen and start the crock pot.
10:20am – everyone’s back home. find a Dinosaur tent and the last Easter basket.
10:30am – outside for the Easter egg scavenger hunt.
11:15am – freezing from the temperature drop, need to run out and get batteries.
11:20am – “Baby, I’m going to Walgreen’s. And when I get back I’m going to blog.”
11:30am – decide it would be nice to let the oldest get a game from the redbox. he uses logic to convince me I do not want to be at the stove cooking lunch today and 40 pieces of deep-fried pink slime would be a better idea.
12:00pm – redbox sucks and gave us a game that was too scratched to play. calling customer service and straining to understand the thick as mud Indian accent.
12:20pm – back on the road with redbox promo codes in hand. Bonus: we rented Immortals for the night now, too.
12:25pm – redbox sucks worse because it won’t accept the return of the broken video game.
12:30pm – driving to another redbox kiosk because otherwise I might forget to do it later and will wind up being charged a 2nd night for a game that doesn’t work.
1:00pm – finally settled in front of the PC again. actually starting to blog.
And I wonder why nothing ever seems to get accomplished?!
